Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a background in manufacturing or production. This role involves assembly, inspection, and use of various tools in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: 7am-3:30pm (with optional overtime)

Pay: $19/hour (with room for growth)

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-components of motors.
• Pack parts for shipping.
• Pick items for production.
• Complete quality checks.
• Clean and prepare metal parts to eliminate oil used to prevent rust during shipping.
• Read and follow detailed instructions.

Essential Skills

• Previous production experience within manufacturing.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to read a computer screen.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Quality or packing experience.
• Experience in electronic assembly.
• Tenure with previous positions (6+ months).

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely clean and organized, located in a temperature-controlled facility. The production floor is divided into various lines where employees work within teams of 8-20 people. Contractors will work in different cells and may need to move from area to area depending on the task. The shift time is from 7am to 3:30pm, with optional overtime available. The facility is one of five in the US and is renowned for its efficiency and reliability.

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
