Adcock Systems, part of the Altus Fire & Life Safey family of companies, Lanham located in Lanham, MD is looking for a Fire Alarm Testing Technician to join our team! The Fire Alarm Technician is primarily responsible for testing, inspecting and servicing fire alarm systems.

Hourly Rate: $55.00/hour - $63.00/hour

ResponsibilitiesJob Duties & Responsibilities:- Serviceand test fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Perform scheduled or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems.
- Inspect, adjust, clean and calibrate, ensuring systems are in excellent working order.
- Complete within assigned hours in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving zero callbacks.
- Work assignments are to be performed in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
Required SkillsQualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum2+ years experienceas licensedfire alarm technician.
- Valid Fire Alarm license in MD.
- Must have a valid driver’s licenseand cleandriving record
- Strong communicationand customer service skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, follow directionsand meet deadlines.
- All applicants will undergo a comprehensive background check.
- Must be flexible with working hours and be willing to be part of an on-call rotation.
- Report toassigned job site location on time, as directed.
- Maintain and properly storetools, materials, and equipment.
- IBEW Local 26 member preferred. If not a IBEW member - Must be willing to become a member of IBEW Local 26.
