The Liaison Engineer coordinates activities to evaluate and resolve engineering-related production issues and leads the development and implementation of individual repairs on a composite structure modification and repair production line. This role bridges the gap between engineering and production by providing timely technical support, ensuring structural repairs meet design specifications, and supporting continuous improvement in aircraft structures repair and overhaul.
ResponsibilitiesYou will join a focused aerospace environment where your technical expertise in aircraft structures directly supports safe, high-quality repair and overhaul work. The organization offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with both shop floor mechanics and engineering teams, providing a clear line of sight between your decisions and real-world results. You can expect a professional, team-oriented culture that values clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement in both processes and technical solutions.
Work EnvironmentThis role operates on a first-shift schedule within a facility of approximately 50 employees. You will work in both shop and office environments, regularly interacting with mechanics on the shop floor and engineers in an office setting. The work centers on a composite structure modification and repair production line, involving aircraft sheet metal and composite structures, and follows aerospace production planning and shop manufacturing standard practices.
