Construction Laborer

This role focuses on exterior construction work at a condominium property, including window caulking, cutting and installing windows, and performing concrete repairs at height. You will support a variety of general labor and carpentry tasks using hand and power tools while working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Perform window caulking on condominium exteriors to ensure proper sealing and weatherproofing.
• Cut, fit, and install windows according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Carry out concrete repair work, including preparation, patching, and finishing of surfaces.
• Assist with glazing tasks on windows, ensuring proper installation and finish.
• Support carpentry-related activities as needed to complete construction and repair projects.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
• Work on scaffolding and at heights, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Handle general construction labor duties such as material handling, site cleanup, and basic repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and maintain a clean, organized work site.
• Follow instructions from site leadership and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.

• Proven experience in construction labor, including exterior building work.
• Concrete repair experience, including preparation and finishing of concrete surfaces.
• Hands-on experience with window glazing and installation.
• Strong proficiency in window caulking for exterior applications.
• Carpentry experience, required to support framing and related tasks.
• Ability to work on scaffolding and comfortably perform duties high in the air.
• Competence using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Capability to perform general labor tasks in a construction environment.
• Reliability to work full-time hours and complete physically demanding tasks.

• Experience working on condominium or multi-unit residential buildings.
• Familiarity with exterior building envelope repairs and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship on windows and concrete repairs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use fall protection when working at heights.
• Good communication skills to coordinate tasks with the onsite team.
• Willingness to work some Saturdays as needed to meet project timelines.

You will work primarily Monday through Friday from approximately 6:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some Saturday shifts as needed. The environment is physically demanding and requires appropriate workwear suitable for outdoor construction conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
