Scott Electric Company has a current opening at our Crafton, PA (PGH) branch for a Full-TimeWarehouseLoader(Sunday -Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM + OT).

Position Summary

The Warehouse Loader is responsible for accurately and safely loading electrical materials and supplies onto delivery trucks for distribution to customers and branch locations. This role ensures orders are complete, properly secured, and delivered in excellent condition while maintaining warehouse safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Verify counts on pick tickets and packing slips before loading
• Ensure electrical products (e.g., conduit, wire reels, panels, lighting fixtures, fittings) are properly secured to prevent damage during transport
• Stage orders in designated loading areas according to delivery routes
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments and stocking inventory as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading dock and warehouse environment
• Inspect trucks prior to loading and report any safety or maintenance concerns
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse team members, and supervisors regarding route loading completion
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and handle heavy or awkward materials such as wire reels and conduit
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and inventory skills
  
• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying
• Use of material handling equipment daily

Preferred:

• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in electrical wholesale or construction materials
  

Must submit a background check and drug testing.
