Shipping Material Handler
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aShipping Material Handlerfor a company based inLargo, FL. Inthisrole, you willhave the opportunity toensure successinthe daily operationthroughout alarge printing/promotional company.
Pay Rate
$15.00 -$16.00per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday,7:00am to03:30pm.
Monday through Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00 am
Shipping Material HandlerDuties and Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the warehouse and shipping areas.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain organized inventory and ensure materials are stored in designated locations.
- Follow all safety, quality, and shipping procedures to support on-time deliveries.
Shipping Material HandlerQualificationsandRequirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ yearsofprevious warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. regularly and perform frequent standing, bending, and walking.
- Basic math and reading skills for verifying orders and shipping documents.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Great understanding of safety standards.
