Line Cook

The Vault at SCW Liquors is Callahan's will be the prime spot for great food, cold drinks, live sports, pool, and darts. We pride ourselves on serving top-tier, high-volume pub farefrom smash burgers and wings to flatbreads, tacos, and late-night eats. We are seeking a fast, dependable, and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook at The Vault, you will handle prep, grill, flat-top, fry station, and line assembly during high-volume sports broadcasts and late-night rushes.

• Station Prep & Cooking: Operate grill, flat-top, fryers, and oven stations to prepare menu items like smash burgers, bone-in/boneless wings, philly cheesesteaks, flatbreads, tacos, and fried appetizers to spec.
• Speed & Ticket Management: Manage multiple food orders accurately and efficiently during high-volume game days, weekend rushes, and late-night service.
• Quality & Consistency: Ensure exact portioning, temperature accuracy, clean plating, and signature builds (e.g., proper sauces, toppings, drizzle finishes).
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary station setups following Florida Department of Health standards.
• Prep Work: Prepare raw ingredients, shred meats, make specialty sauces, and prep house ingredients daily.
• Restocking & Inventory: Keep line stations fully stocked throughout shifts and assist with food prep for late-night service.

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years as a Line Cook in a sports bar, casual dining, or high-volume tavern environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong experience operating fryers, flat-top grills, and assembly lines.
• Pace & Stamina: Ability to work quickly under pressure during rush hours and maintain quality.
• Late-Night Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends, game days, and late-night closing shifts.
• Food Safety: Food Handler Certification preferred (or required within 30 days of hire).
• Physical Ability: Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
