Precision Tube Fabrication Welder (MIG/TIG)
Step into a hands-on role with a leading manufacturer, where your craft shapes high-quality tubing and component assemblies in a fast-paced industrial environment. Your day begins at the bench with blueprints and weld symbols, moves to fixture setup for hydraulic tube assemblies, and culminates in clean, accurate MIG/TIG welds across a range of metals. Along the way, you’ll verify every dimension with calipers and micrometers, troubleshoot your equipment, and hold each finished weld to rigorous quality and safety standards.
What you’ll do
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assemble and weld tubing and related components.
- Set up fixtures and prepare hydraulic tube assemblies for welding operations.
- Perform precise MIG and TIG welding on various metals to meet production and quality targets.
- Validate dimensions and weld quality using precise measurement tools; probe for defects such as cracks or incomplete fusion.
- Maintain, adjust, and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
What you bring
- 1–3 years of welding experience, preferably within manufacturing.
- Fluency in reading blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
- Proven MIG/TIG proficiency across multiple metals.
- Comfort using calipers, micrometers, and similar tools for precision measurement and inspection.
