Job Description

Job Description

We’re seeking a IT Project Manager to support a growing business vertical within a global operations team. This role is ideal for a junior–mid level PM with experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, healthcare, or large enterprise environments who is comfortable working across technical workstreams even if you’re still building deeper technical fluency.

If you’re adaptable, organized, and excited to learn new technical domains (low voltage, AV, cabling, etc.), this role offers strong growth and exposure.

About the Role

This is an independent contributor position supporting technical project delivery across multiple workstreams. You’ll coordinate timelines, stakeholders, documentation, and project readiness while partnering closely with technical teams, vendors, and leadership.

You do not need engineering-level experience just the ability to understand technical terminology, ask smart questions, and keep projects moving.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across technical and operational workstreams
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (construction, infrastructure, utilities, mobility, facilities, tech vendors, etc.)
  • Track schedules, deliverables, risks, and dependencies
  • Review project documentation, plans, and blueprints (training provided if needed)
  • Facilitate meetings, action items, and stakeholder communication
  • Support leaders by clarifying terminology, risks, timelines, and project expectations
  • Escalate issues appropriately without overloading leadership
  • Maintain project controls, governance documentation, and status reporting
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment

Ideal Candidate

You might come from construction project management, infrastructure, utilities, healthcare systems, transportation, public sector, or large enterprise operations.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Flexible, patient, and transparent in communication
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Experienced working with large organizations or complex environments
  • Open to learning new technical domains (low voltage, AV, cabling, etc.)
  • Strong at reading or learning to read plans/blueprints
  • Adaptable and proactive with follow-up and risk escalation
  • Able to start within 2 weeks of offer

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of project management or project coordination experience
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, healthcare, or similar technical environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Comfort with technical terminology (low voltage, AV, cabling, etc.) training provided
  • Ability to work onsite in Atlanta 1 day per week
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Hybrid: 1 day onsite weekly (Atlanta)
  • Contract: 6 months with extension to 9–12 months
  • Minimal travel (quarterly or less)

Why This Role Is Great

  • Exposure to a fast-growing technical operations team
  • Hands-on experience across multiple infrastructure and technical workstreams
  • Opportunity to learn new technical domains without needing engineering depth
  • Supportive leadership and strong cross-functional collaboration
