Saw Operator/Pipe Cutter

We are hiring a Saw Operator for a local distributor specializing in pipe, valves, and fittings for the oil & gas industry. This position will primarily involve operating saws to cut pipe to customer specifications, along with assisting with loading/unloading materials and other general warehouse and shop duties.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn different areas of the operation.

• Operate HEM saws and band saws to cut pipe to specified lengths.

• Measure pipe and materials to ensure accurate cuts.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing pipe shipments.

• Assist with handling, moving, and organizing pipe, valves, and fittings.

• Read tape measures, work orders, and basic specifications.

• Assist with general warehouse and shop duties as needed.

• Learn to operate additional equipment and machinery.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety procedures.

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or saw operation experience preferred.

• Experience operating HEM saws, band saws, or similar equipment is a plus.

• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working with pipe and other industrial materials.

• Dependable, hardworking, and able to work overtime when needed.
