Pfister Energy is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial solar EPC projects from preconstruction through final closeout. We're looking for a proven project leader who can manage construction teams, control budgets and schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and deliver complex projects safely, on time, and within budget.
What You'll Do
- Manage commercial solar EPC projects from preconstruction and mobilization through final inspections and closeout.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, change orders, and contract compliance.
- Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical construction activities.
- Lead field teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, procurement plans, and project risks.
- Manage customer communication, RFIs, inspections, punch lists, and project documentation.
- Partner with Estimating, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
Who We're Looking For
- 4+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in commercial solar EPC.
- Experience managing solar or complex construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, cost controls, contracts, change orders, and subcontractor management.
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Experience leading field teams and managing multiple project priorities.
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
- Ability to travel to project sites and report to the Hawthorne, NJ office as needed.
