In Home Caregivers

Embark Care is hiring two experienced caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for a client in Avery, TX. This client receives care seven days a week, and we are looking for dependable caregivers to cover the weekday and weekend schedules.

Position 1 – Weekday Caregiver

• Monday–Friday

• 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• 40 hours per week

Position 2 – Weekend Caregiver

• Saturday & Sunday

• 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• 16 hours per week

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Applicants may be considered for either schedule based on availability. Additional assignments may be available in surrounding areas for caregivers interested in more hours.

• Provide companionship, supervision, and support for a client with dementia/memory care needs

• Assist with daily living activities according to the client's individualized care plan

• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment

• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition or behavior

• Communicate with agency staff regarding care needs and concerns

• Previous verifiable caregiving experience required

• Dementia/memory care experience REQUIRED

• Ability to provide patient, compassionate care to individuals experiencing memory loss or confusion

• Dependable attendance and ability to follow an established care plan

• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

• Valid driver's license required for most agency assignments

• Transfer equipment experience preferred for additional assignments

• $15.00-$16.00/hour
