HVAC Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator – Delivery Driver

Job Overview

Are you familiar with HVAC equipment, heating and air conditioning supplies, or the parts HVAC technicians use every day? We are looking for a dependable HVAC Warehouse Associate to join the team!

This position is ideal for someone with previous HVAC industry experience who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, operating a sit-down forklift, and helping customers receive the equipment and supplies they need.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an HVAC supply house, HVAC contracting business, plumbing or mechanical supply company, or a similar environment. You will help receive and organize HVAC equipment, prepare customer orders, operate a sit-down forklift, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries. There may also be opportunities to deliver equipment and supplies to residential and commercial customers.

HVAC industry knowledge is strongly preferred. We are especially interested in candidates who understand HVAC parts and equipment, have worked alongside HVAC technicians, or have experience handling or delivering heating and air conditioning supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming HVAC equipment, parts, and supply shipments.
• Load and unload trucks safely using a sit-down forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Pick, pull, pack, and stage customer orders accurately for pickup or delivery.
• Identify, organize, and stock HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies in designated warehouse locations.
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift while following all company safety procedures.
• Assist customers and counter staff with locating and preparing HVAC products and orders.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Load delivery vehicles and help ensure orders are accurate and ready for transport.
• Make deliveries to residential and commercial customers as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with HVAC equipment, heating and cooling parts, or HVAC supplies is a major plus.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or material-handling experience.
• At least two years of sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Previous delivery driving experience is helpful.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record if required for delivery duties.
• Ability to identify products, follow order information, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and punctual.
• Strong work ethic and a customer-focused attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry 50–70 pounds, with assistance or appropriate equipment when needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely reach, retrieve, and stock products stored on warehouse shelving.
• Ability to work in a hands-on warehouse environment.
