Key Responsibilities

  • Perform transmission and distribution line design and engineering analysis
  • Utilize engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, SPIDAcalc, and related design tools
  • Develop, review, and validate engineering packages for overhead line, pole, and foundation projects
  • Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations to support transmission and distribution designs
  • Ensure engineering designs comply with GO95, NESC, ASCE, SCE, and other applicable utility standards
  • Independently perform engineering design work and technical reviews
  • Provide technical support to project teams and collaborate with other engineering disciplines
  • Support construction and field personnel by identifying and resolving design-related issues
  • Participate in field visits and site evaluations as required
  • Review technical information and provide recommendations to support project objectives
  • Support the continuous improvement of engineering standards, procedures, processes, and design practices
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address engineering and project-related requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
