Job Description
TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Laborer / Equipment Spotter for an oilfield services company in the Andrews, TX area. This position involves safely directing vehicles and heavy equipment, performing general labor duties, and maintaining a clean and organized yard.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, comfortable working outdoors, and willing to perform physically demanding tasks. Previous oilfield or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely guide trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment throughout the yard using hand signals or radios.
- Monitor surrounding areas for potential hazards and ensure safe equipment movement.
- Perform general labor and outdoor yard maintenance.
- Operate weed eaters and basic lawn maintenance equipment.
- Remove weeds, vegetation, trash, and debris from work areas.
- Assist with organizing, moving, and staging materials and equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
- Assist with additional yard duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding general labor.
- Strong attention to safety and surroundings.
- Ability to communicate clearly with drivers and equipment operators.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
- Must wear steel-toed boots.
- Previous experience in general labor, oilfield operations, yard maintenance, or equipment spotting is preferred but not required.
