Child Care Director

Director of Child Care Services for DCFS Licensed Child Care Center with licensed capacity of 163 children, ages 6 weeks to 13 years.

Candidates must meet DCFS Licensing Standards qualifications for Child Care Director, including 60 semester (or 90 quarter hours) of credit from an accredited college or university with 18 semester of 27 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development from birth to age 6.

YWCA Kankakee seeks to employ a dynamic and committed child care director to lead the staff of a DCFS licensed child care center serving children ages 6 weeks to 13 years. The organization has been a State of Illinois licensed child care center since 1965 and focuses on providing child care services to income-eligible working families.
