Overview
We are seeking an Inventory Clerk to help manage control room operations within a Distribution Center. In this role, you will oversee inventory accuracy, manage shipping/receiving warehouse processes, and handle dispatch paperwork. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, data analytics, and supply chain coordination.
Schedule
M-F 11am-7:30pm, with availability to work a flexible schedule
Duties
- Assist in the completion of End of Shift paperwork
- Log incoming and outgoing merchandise, verify shipment quantities, and reconcile stock records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and SAP.
- Oversee shipping & receiving operations - ex. print shipping and export labels
- Engage in cross-functional communication with merchandising and logistics inventory management
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software, or warehouse operations with a strong understanding of supply chain logistics.
- Demonstrated data analysis skills using spreadsheets (Excel)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (RF/SAP)
- Familiarity with BOLs, shipping manifests, etc.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in math and technical proficiency in data collection tools is essential.
