Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in San Francisco, California on a Contract basis. In this role, you will support customers by providing clear guidance, addressing questions thoroughly, and helping each interaction move forward efficiently. The ideal candidate brings a service-focused approach, maintains dependable queue coverage, and contributes to a smooth application and support experience for every customer.

Responsibilities:
• Assist customers through inbound and outbound interactions, offering clear direction and ensuring they understand next steps without feeling rushed.
• Handle customer inquiries with accuracy and completeness, gathering the right information and providing well-informed responses on the first interaction whenever possible.
• Enter and update order or application details carefully to reduce delays, minimize incomplete submissions, and keep records current.
• Monitor open cases and follow up proactively so pending items continue moving toward resolution instead of remaining stalled.
• Maintain consistent availability during scheduled hours, including reliable on-queue presence and timely attendance.
• Respond constructively to feedback, adjust performance based on coaching, and apply guidance to improve service quality.
• Support call center operations by documenting conversations thoroughly and escalating issues appropriately when additional assistance is needed.• Previous experience in customer service or a call center environment.
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
• Experience with order entry or handling detailed customer information with accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and patiently.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to remain consistently available during assigned working hours.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through when managing open requests or applications.
• Receptive to coaching and able to adapt quickly based on feedback.
