Pay: $60 - $95/hr + OT Eligible | Paid Weekly | Hourly rate is dependent on experience

Multiple levels open: Level 2, Level 3, or Level 4 Engineer

Job Summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of digital electronic hardware and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) for advanced defense systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative technologies in a highly collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, test, and integrate digital electronic hardware and CCAs
  • Develop schematics and support PCB layout activities
  • Design hardware using processors, FPGAs, memory devices, and communication interfaces
  • Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting
  • Support hardware integration, validation, and laboratory testing
  • Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
  • 2-6+ years of electronics design experience depending on level
  • Experience with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design
  • Experience with PCB or PCBA design
  • Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools
  • Experience supporting complex multi-layer circuit card designs
  • Familiarity with signal integrity and power integrity analysis preferred
  • FPGA and digital electronics experience is a plus
  • Active security clearance
