Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Warehouse Material Handler to join our warehouse and distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, managing inventory, picking/packing orders, and maintaining an organized, efficient workspace. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating stand-up reach trucks and standard sit-down forklifts.

Pay details: $18-21/hr

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate stand-up reach trucks, sit- down forklifts, and powered pallet jacks to move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout high-bay racking systems.

Receiving & Shipping: Load and unload inbound/outbound freight trucks, verify shipment quantities against packing slips, and report any damages or discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, stage, load, and label customer orders using handheld RF scanners or system pick lists.

Inventory Management: Assist with regular cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and continuous stock replenishment to ensure high inventory accuracy.

Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines. Conduct daily pre-shift inspections on equipment.

Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work aisles, staging areas, and equipment clean, orderly, and hazard-free.

Qualifications and Skills:

Forklift Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating both Stand- Up Reach Trucks and Sit-Down Forklifts.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Equipment Certification: Active Forklift Certification (or ability to pass in-house recertification upon hire).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly (and up to 75+ lbs occasionally with proper lifting techniques or team support).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and twist continuously throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
• Basic Tech Skills: Familiarity with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, RF SMART).
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, solid communication skills, and a strong team-player mindset. Successful attendance skills and ability to arrive to scheduled shift on time is a must.
