President Container Group, a leading independent manufacturer of Corrugated Packaging (Sheets, Boxes, Trays, Partitions, Display Units, etc.) is seeking full time entry level Machine Stackers, Strappers and Runner-Pullers in our plant in Middletown, NY.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

The Machine Strapper is responsible for all activities associated with operating and maintaining the McKinley Strappingequipment, conveyor photo eyes, transfer chains, all associated conveyor lines, in addition to setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations..

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or GED candidates PREFERRED: English speaking, reading and writing, math skills at a minimum of a 10th grade level, basic computer skills, and the ability to accurately read a tape measure and have math aptitude.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for long periods of time.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Ability to work in teams and be a team player.
  • Must follow Safety Guidelines and Procedures.
