Machinist Supervisor

The Machinist Supervisor will be responsible for operating independently at various machines, including Mill and Swiss machines, to produce diverse types of screws and hinges. The role requires proficiency in reading micrometers and calipers for precise measurement of parts. An advantageous skill is the ability to edit G-code directly at the machine.

• Operate Mill and Swiss machines independently.
• Jump between machines as needed to ensure production efficiency.
• Accurately measure parts using micrometers and calipers.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide machining processes.
• Troubleshoot and perform changeovers on CNC machines.
• Conduct programming and machining tasks effectively.

• Proficiency in using measurement tools, specifically micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with Swiss machines.

• Capability to edit G-code directly at the machine.

The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:30am to 4:00pm. The work environment provides regular hours with weekends always off, promoting a balanced lifestyle.

This is a Permanent position based out of Union, MI.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
