Associate Veterinarian (DVM), No Weekends, Buy-In Path

An AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in central Minnesota's Brainerd Lakes area is hiring an Associate Veterinarian.

The caseload is primarily dogs and cats, covering wellness, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and emergency stabilization, and interest in pocket pets or exotics is welcome. Doctors have clinical autonomy, and the team holds daily huddles, regular meetings, and team events.

Key Highlights:

• 4-day work week, 7:30am to 5:00pm; hospital closed weekends
• After-hours emergency coverage shared with neighboring hospitals, keeping on-call light
• Six exam rooms, two surgical suites, ICU and isolation areas
• Digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, therapy laser, in-house IDEXX lab, and AI-assisted documentation
• Customized onboarding for new doctors with longer appointments and dedicated mentorship
• Future buy-in opportunities through a partnership program

About You:

• DVM or VMD from an accredited school
• Valid Minnesota veterinary license
• All experience levels welcome, including new graduates
