Production Manager, 3rd shift, Label Manufacturing Plant

Label Specialties is seeking a full-time, third shift Production Manager. This is an overtime eligible, supervisor's position with excellent pay and benefits. Experience in label printing, material handling, supervision or production management required.Successful candidate will have a positive attitude, an ability to motivate his or her team, and a commitment to quality work, safety and deadlines.

The 3rd shift Production Manager is responsible for all aspects of our third shift operations, including job scheduling, employee supervision, and plant safety:

• Manage workflow for both digital and flexographic presses, set production targets, and ensure customer orders are completed on time.
• Maintain a safe working environment for the entire third shift team.
• Act as final QC for all orders printed, finished or boxed third shift. Maintain strict print quality standards.
• Train, coach, and evaluate a team of press operators, machine operators, art technicians, and warehouse associates.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication skills (written and in-person), coordinating production with other departments and shifts.

This is a manager’s position but includes a significant amount of highly detailed work in addition to lifting, moving, and standing; requires excellent mobility as well as the ability to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to distinguish colors.
