Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM CST
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Millington, TN. This role is responsible for material handling, inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, count, stage, package, and prepare materials for shipment.
- Load and unload inventory using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Sort, organize, rack, and store products according to established inventory procedures.
- Assemble orders and prepare shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment once certified.
- Assist with crate assembly, disassembly, and movement of materials throughout the facility.
- Complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse documentation accurately.
- Verify inventory labels, stock counts, and shipment records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily operational goals are met.
- Support onboarding and training of new warehouse associates as needed.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, dock organization, and basic equipment upkeep.
- Identify and communicate operational issues to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
- Ability to obtain Forklift Certification within 3-6 months of hire.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and standard warehouse equipment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and complete warehouse forms, checklists, and shipping documents.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
