Job Summary
Care the Wright Way LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will support seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting with daily living activities and promoting their comfort, safety, and independence.
Schedule: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, weekly
Location: Atlanta, GA
The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, and committed to providing quality, person-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide support with mobility, walking, and transfers as needed.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to the client’s needs.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide medication reminders and assistance as permitted by applicable policies and regulations.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with errands and grocery shopping as needed.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow all care plans, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver, Personal Care Aide (PCA), or Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, if required for the assignment.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care.
- Ability to follow care plans and health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist with mobility and physical tasks as required by the client’s needs.
- Compassionate, respectful, patient, and ethical approach to caregiving.
- Ability to work the scheduled 2:00 PM–7:00 PM shift each week.
