Digital Marketing Consultant (Account Executive)

Good Karma Sports is seeking an experienced and high-performing Digital Marketing Consultant to join our Cleveland team. This role will help local and regional businesses connect with highly engaged sports audiences through Good Karma Sports’ diverse portfolio of digital, video, streaming, CTV, content, and premium sports media offerings.

Our portfolio includes ESPN, March Madness, NBA, New England Sports Network, SportsNet Pittsburgh, and other premium sports and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping partners grow their businesses through creative, customized, and results-driven marketing solutions.

The Digital Marketing Consultant will develop and grow long-term relationships with local and regional businesses by identifying their marketing objectives, uncovering challenges, and building integrated digital strategies that deliver meaningful results. This teammate will own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and proposal development through campaign execution, partner retention, and account growth - while serving as a trusted marketing advisor.

Career responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Identify, uncover, and develop new digital advertising partnerships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional decision-makers
• Create customized, results-driven digital marketing solutions aligned with partner objectives
• Present and sell customized solutions across Good Karma Sports' full portfolio of digital, video, streaming, CTV, content, and premium sports offerings
• Grow and retain an active book of business through consultative selling
• Develop deep knowledge of Good Karma Sports’ full digital portfolio and targeting capabilities
• Stay current on digital media trends, products, and best practices
• Effectively uncover marketing challenges and position solutions at all organizational levels, including the C-suite
• Network within the Cleveland business community to expand market presence and develop new business opportunities
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline reporting using CRM tools
• Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve new business outreach, partner research, campaign development, communication, and sales effectiveness whilemaintaininga high levelof personalization and partner interaction
• Other assigned tasks

Preferred knowledge,skills,and qualifications

• 3+ years of successful sales experience in digital sales or at an advertising agency
• Digital and digital video knowledge and experience
• Passion for sales and servicewith an entrepreneurial spirit
• Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding sales goals with local business owners, CEOs, general managers, and advertisingagencies
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered productivity tools and integrations to enhance traditional business applications, including document creation, spreadsheet analysis, presentations, and workflow automation.
• Occasional travel for out of market partner meetings may be required
• Valid driver’s license required; in-market partner meetings are an essential function of this role

Hours/Salary/Benefits

This is an exempt role with a competitive base salary plus commission. This role is eligible for full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave, and more. This position requires occasional evening and weekend work for events and games, and other partner needs.
