Who we are looking for?

To support our growth we are looking to add a Night Shift Maintenance Tech at our Milk Processing Plant in Manheim PA. The schedule for this position 4 (four) 10-hour days per week, from 7:00pm-5:00am (overnight) on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems
  • Maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance, including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement
  • Troubleshoot/Diagnose/Repair electrical and mechanical issues
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems
  • 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience including areas of mechanical/electrical, general maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic work
  • Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Electrical Technician, Mechanical Technician, etc.) are a plus
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively diagnose and resolve issues
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous Dairy/Fluid processing experience preferred
  • Experience in sanitary/food manufacturing facilities is a plus
