Construction Laborer

Join our team as a Construction Laborer where you will engage in production construction work, building modular trailers from the ground up. You will perform repetitive installations as all trailers are standardized. This role requires proficiency in using basic hand and power tools within a fast-paced production environment. Comprehensive training on assembling and building trailers will be provided, after which you will be expected to work independently.

• Build modular trailers from scratch using provided blueprints.
• Perform repetitive installation tasks ensuring consistency in production.
• Utilize basic hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Complete basic carpentry tasks and assist with electrical work if needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety standards are met.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform basic carpentry tasks.
• Familiarity with construction and framing techniques.
• Understanding of blueprint reading and implementation.

• OSHA 10 certification or any relevant safety training.
• Experience in BC Cabling is a plus.
• Previous experience as a construction laborer is advantageous.

Our operations take place in a large construction yard with warehouse buildings featuring 20ft garages for trailer assembly. You will work both indoors and outdoors; the warehouse doors are adjustable to weather conditions, ensuring comfort. Our standard schedule is from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for additional shifts as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
