Job Description

Overview

At Ezee Fiber, our success is built on delivering Speed, Simplicity, and Service in everything we do. Guided by our core values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, and Collaboration, we empower our employees to do the right thing, support one another, take ownership of their work, and work together to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers and the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

The Director, Aerial & Complex Construction is a senior leadership role responsible for solving Ezee Fiber's hardest, most non-standard construction challenges and converting each solution into a playbook that markets can execute on their own. This leader owns companywide aerial construction strategy, complex crossings and right-of-way, and the company's approach to difficult municipalities and specialized property access.

This role calls for the deepest technical construction expertise within the organization. Rather than holding standing responsibility for a market, this leader is deployed against one or two of the company's highest-priority construction challenges at a time, with priorities set directly by the SVP, Construction. Success is measured by the number of problem categories converted into published playbooks, a reduction in repeat escalations, and improvement in aerial cost, cycle time, and locate timeliness.

Qualifications

Aerial Construction Strategy & Economics
• Set companywide aerial construction strategy, build plans, and economics, including criteria for aerial-versus-underground construction
• Own pole attachment and make-ready processes and manage companywide utility relationships
Complex Crossings & Right-of-Way
• Develop and maintain playbooks for DOT, railroad, and major crossing right-of-way (ROW) requirements
• Lead the field-to-Engineering constructability feedback loop to resolve design issues discovered in the field
Municipal & Governmental Navigation
• Lead the company's approach and escalation strategy for difficult municipalities
• Maintain documentation of municipal gating items and limitations
• Define pre-build requirements established during governmental-authority outreach
Specialized Property Access
• Develop templates and economics for HOA, gated-community, private-road, and easement access
Local municipal relationships, day-to-day permitting, and market-level aerial execution remain owned by the General Manager and market teams; this role builds the playbook and escalation path behind them.
