Purchasing Agent

This Position will be in Sherman Texas

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Agent to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have previous purchasing experience and be comfortable working with vendors, placing orders, tracking materials, and helping ensure the company has the supplies and materials needed for production.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Place and manage purchase orders
Communicate with vendors and suppliers
Obtain pricing and compare quotes
Track orders and delivery schedules
Maintain accurate purchasing records
Monitor inventory and material needs
Work closely with production and other departments
Help ensure materials are available when needed

Requirements:

Previous purchasing experience required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience is a plus
