Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of goods within our warehouse facility.
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift available
Wage: $16.54
Interviews ASAP: Must be available to interview on Saturday October 24th between 10-12pm.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load and unload materials.
- Manage inventory through accurate barcode scanning and warehouse management system (WMS) entries.
- Pick and prepare orders efficiently using order picker equipment while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and warehouse safety standards during all operations.
- Handle materials manually when necessary, including heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
Requirements
- Experience operating forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or similar material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management practices.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse distribution processes.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and have basic math skills for order picking, inventory counts, and measurements.
- Must be available to interview on Saturday October 24th between 10-12pm.
