About the Role
STRATA Networks is seeking an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and material planning. This role ensures materials and equipment are available to support telecommunications construction, network operations, and customer installations while managing costs, supplier relationships, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Supervise purchasing and warehouse personnel, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, negotiations, and vendor performance.
- Oversee multimillion-dollar inventory investments, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and audits.
- Direct warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, material distribution, and safety.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Finance to forecast material needs and support projects.
- Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, analyze performance metrics, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Improve supply chain processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
What You Bring to the Team
To be successful, you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory, warehousing, or operations.
- Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory software, purchasing, and vendor management.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, multiple priorities, and deadlines while promoting safety and continuous improvement.
Work Environment and Conditions
- Combination of office, warehouse, and outdoor storage yard environments.
- Regular collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, and warehouse personnel.
- Occasional travel between company facilities may be required.
- Flexibility to support operational needs and project deadlines.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout warehouse and storage areas.
- Ability to use computers, inventory systems, and standard office equipment.
- Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and stored materials.
