We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience managing maintenance teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a key member of our operations team, the Chief Engineer ensures all building systems operate efficiently, comply with safety standards, and meet brand expectations.
Compensation:$45,000 - $50,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Assist in budget planning, including estimating costs for repairs and capital improvement projects.
- Act as the primary contact for brand partners, ensuring alignment with current standards and protocols.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage the performance of maintenance staff.
- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Qualifications:- Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking or work order systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, evaluations, and scheduling.
- In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
