JobSummary:
This position involves operating the crane and cheese cutter for packaging including understanding packaging includingloading,labeling,bagging,weighing,boxing,palletizing,cuttingandsomebasicsanitation.Thisposition requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules.
JobResponsibilities:
- Utilizecranesystemincludingsetup,handcontrols,movingofforms,properloading/unloadingofforms while monitoring cables to prevent twisting and pinching
- SetupanduseofGrinderandCutterincludingcarriage/harp/basketalongwithknowledgeofdaily schedule; proper insertion of product and forms as needed
- Cheeserecoveryincludingscrapingbottomofpalletsandpansforbrownprocesstubs
- Knowledgeofcolorcodesystemusedforprocessingcheeseincludingcheesetypespecificsforproduction
- StrictadherencetoGMPs;Keepareaclean
- StrictadherencetoSafety/PPEprotocolsandprocedures;reportingunsafeconditionstoplant management
- Accuraterecordkeepingandlinespecificpaperwork
- Perform all other duties as assigned

PhysicalRequirements:
- Moderatelystrenuousworkinvolvingstanding,walkingwithfrequentbending,twisting,pushingand squatting; Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Fast-paced clean environment; frequently cool, wet, and moderate noise along with working with chemicals
