Direct Care Worker

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to join our team at our 5-bed Specialized Residential Service group home. If you have at least one year of experience and are ready for a hands-on role where you can truly impact lives, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Direct Care Worker, you’ll play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities, including mobility and personal care.
• Supporting residents in safely navigating spaces such as bathrooms, vehicles, and other limited areas.
• Performing household duties such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Ensuring residents’ safety and well-being through attentive care and adherence to required training and protocols.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• 1 year of experience in a similar caregiving or direct care role.
• The ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and turning throughout your shift.
• Comfort and capability in assisting residents with mobility, including getting in and out of vehicles.
• A commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care.
• The ability to safely perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations, using required training and equipment.
