JOB TITLE: Assistant Registrar - Full Time
DEPARTMENT: Office of the Registrar
REPORTS TO: Registrar

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the Registrar in maintaining all official academic records of Rochester Christian University. This individual is responsible for processing add/drop/withdrawal requests for students for the current term, processing transcript orders, and ordering diplomas. This position is a great introduction to working in higher education.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A minimum of an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; a baccalaureate degree preferred
- Preferred experience working in higher education settings, ideally in records management or academic services.
- An equivalent combination of related work and education experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with commencement preparation
- Process administrative drops and withdrawals of student schedules
- Process transcript requests and student forms
- Process pre-requisite checks
- Manage student incompletes
- Manage class cancellations
- Responsible for ordering supplies for faculty on campus, including paper and various other office supplies.
- Stay informed of current state and federal regulations regarding student records.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience working with CAMS Enterprise or related student management system
- Additional experience working with National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with campus departments, faculty, parents, and students
