Machine Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced factory environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various machinery and manufacturing processes, including the ability to operate multiple machines.

1st shift: 6:45am - 3:15pm (starts at $15)

2nd shift: 2:45pm - 11:15pm (starts at $15 plus $1.50 shift differential)

3rd shift: 10:45pm - 7:15am (starts at $14 plus $3.00 shift differential)

This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality production standards are met.

Duties

• Regularly reviews the load and speed of the machine.
• Reviews actual output to ensure there are no deformities or discrepancies in the output, such as incorrect or broken strands, incorrect alignment, flakes, etc.
• Measures actual output for width variance, thickness variance and other non-conforming discrepancies.
• Works in partnership with quality assurance inspectors to review output.
• Completes control and non-conforming reports daily.
• Reports any machine malfunctions to supervisor immediately.

Experience

• Previous experience of at least 1 year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments is essential for quality control.
