Job Summary:

The Cottage, a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking a dedicated and efficient Weekend Double Laundry Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents. Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry for residents, ensuring that all items are cleaned and returned to their rooms in a timely and efficient manner

• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines

• Maintain accurate records of laundry processing and monitoring inventory levels of laundry supplies

• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to high standards

• Participate in quality control measures to ensure that all laundry is done to the highest standards

• Lift, carry, and move laundry bags and equipment, and may be required to stand for long periods

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work a weekend schedule, as this is a part-time position

• Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry bags and equipment

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
