Lead Consumer Electronics EE (w/Camera/Optics)

Overview: We are conducting a high-priority search for an experienced Lead EE with consumer electronics industry experience. In this full-time, direct hire, onsite leadership position for our extremely successful, established, and innovative client, you will be the integral leader of six on a successful commercial products team for new product development. This role reports to the Director – highly visible!

What you will be doing: Design/development of camera-based consumer electronic products utilizing high-speed digital electronics, based on SoC / FPGA technology, and image sensors. You will be responsible for the complete electronic hardware development lifecycle, from concept through production, working closely with FPGA, firmware, mechanical, optical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.

What you must have:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required; M.S. preferred.
• 10+ years of hardware design experience.
• Experience bringing consumer electronics from concept to production.
• Expertise with SoC and integration of FPGA-based systems, camera integration, and high-speed, multilayer PCB design.

Work Environment: The onsite office is very relaxed, shorts/flip flops, with culture fit being a huge factor in hiring. People assimilate and work well together. Some hybrid possible following acclimation.

Salary/Rate Range: $150K - $180K (plus 15% annual bonus)
