This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update as needed the company engineering files including SolidWorks engineering drawings; manufacturing sequences and production processes.
- Working with other departments and inspectors to assist in the resolution of production problems and enhance machining, fabrication and quality processes.
- Defining manufacturing sequences and assisting in the preparation of customer quotations.
- Evaluating the condition of discrepant material and determining root causes and corrective actions.
- Reviewing the current design of the company’s core products to assess the effectiveness of design improvements.
- If needed suggesting possible improvements, but also designing and conducting tests to assess the efficacy of possible product enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience manufacturing engineer experience
- Proficient with SolidWorks, and Microsoft (Word, Excel)
- ERP software experience would be a plus
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
Hours
Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm
The salary is up to $38.00 an hour based on experience
