EMR / Charting: Meditech
Licensure Gate: Active Virginia Registered Pharmacist (RPh) License required
Credentials: RPh required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) strongly preferred
The Rotating Inpatient Advantage
- Zero On-Call Burden: Leave work at the door with no standby hours, unexpected night call-ins, or weekend call obligations.
- No Graveyard Shifts: Maintain a healthy sleep routine working exclusively within daytime and evening hours (07:00–15:30 and 14:30–23:00).
- Clinical Autonomy: Take direct ownership of pharmacokinetic dosing consults, sterile compounding verification, and multidisciplinary provider inquiries.
What You Must Bring
- State Licensure (Hardstop): Active, unrestricted Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
- EMR Proficiency: Direct working familiarity with Meditech pharmacy modules and order verification workflows.
- Hospital Experience: Verifiable acute care inpatient hospital pharmacy experience handling sterile products and clinical consults.
