Greet and escort guests to restaurant tables in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.

Food Server or Guest Service Agent – Restaurant Supervisor or Front Office Supervisor

Your Focus

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, escort to the dining table and present menu.
• Read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• Maintain proper set-up of the dining room.
• Assist as needed or requested with service.
• Receive records and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and will include working on holidays and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

Qualifications

This is a hybrid Host/Hostess and Server Assistant position supporting evening restaurant operations.

• Greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and coordinate table assignments.

• Communicate guest needs and seating updates to servers and management.

• Clear and reset tables, maintain clean and stocked service stations, and assist servers with beverages, bread, and other guest needs.

• Run food from the kitchen to guests’ tables promptly and accurately.

• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area.

• Follow HHM’s EarthView sustainability practices and comply with OSHA, MSDS, and workplace safety standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule Requirements: Must be available for PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
