Project Engineer

Job Summary

The Project Engineer is responsible for creating designs and detailed drawings for a variety of projects. Additionally, the Project Engineer is responsible for preparing the drawing sets which may include gas, electric, phone, and cable television infrastructure for utility companies.

• Assist with preparing joint trench plan sets including gas, electric, phone & cable submittals for utility companies
• Insert new civil base files into job files
• Follow company AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Revit standards
• Respond to drawing related questions from Project Managers
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to understand the design intent and meet the client needs
• Save files correctly utilizing Vizion Utility Partners file maintenance
• On a daily basis, communicate to the project management staff on the completion of assignments
