Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in a freezer environment. This position involves packing products, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining an organized work area in a cold-storage facility. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in freezing temperatures, can perform repetitive physical tasks, and is committed to maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders and company specifications.
- Inspect products for quality, damage, and accuracy before packing.
- Label, seal, and organize packages for shipping and storage.
- Pick and sort products to fulfill orders accurately.
- Load and unload products and move materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain proper product handling and storage procedures in a freezer environment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures when applicable.
- Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Meet daily production and packing goals while maintaining accuracy.
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and cold-storage procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, packing, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a freezer environment for extended periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move products as required by the position.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required cold-weather protective equipment.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in a refrigerated or freezer warehouse with below-freezing temperatures.
- Employees must wear appropriate protective clothing and safety equipment.
- Position involves standing for extended periods and repetitive packing and handling tasks.
- Fast-paced environment with daily productivity and quality expectations.
