Production Worker

Responsibilities:

• Attend area of transfer from filler to chiller and ensure orderly workflow.
• Transfer carts of production in and out of chillers and place product in the WIP area.
• Orient product alignment at the Garvey table and flip trays in chillers when needed.
• Rework product below specifications and report discrepancies to Supervisors or Leads.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following the 5S program and promote a safe work environment.
• Follow HACCP principles, Good Manufacturing Practices, and all Food and Personal Safety Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including transferring to the Kitchen area as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 18 years or older with ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail in a production environment.
• Ability to work in cold, hot, dusty, and noisy environments while wearing required PPE.
• Physical capability for frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs with team-assist when required.

Preferred Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
