What You will Achieve

With our continued growth in the Transmission&Distribution sector, we are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer. Work on critical infrastructure projects and contribute to the structural integrity of high-voltage substations nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Structuralengineeringanddesignofbothtransmissionanddistributionsubstations,includingnewbuilds,expansions,andretrofits.
• PerformandreviewstructuralanalysisanddesignusingsoftwaresuchasRISA-3D,STAAD.Pro,L-Pile,RAMStructuralSystem,CSISAFE,orMathCAD.
• Developandoverseetheproductionofstructuralconstructiondocuments,includingdetailedspecifications,plans,andcalculationsforsteel,concrete,andfoundationsystems.
• Evaluateexistingstructuresforloadingcapacity,retrofitneeds,andcompliancewithcurrentcodes.
• Coordinatewithgeotechnicalteamsforinterpretationandapplicationofsoildataintofoundationdesign.
• Supportandleadfieldinvestigations,constructabilityreviews,andsiteassessments.
• Reviewandapprovedelegateddesignworkfromsubconsultantsorjuniorengineers,ensuringcompliancewithengineeringbestpracticesandprojectrequirements.
• Mentorandprovidetechnicalleadershiptojuniorengineers,designers,anddrafters.

Requirements:

• 8+yearsofstructuralengineeringexperience,
• 3+yearsinsubstationstructuraldesignfortransmissionand/ordistributionfacilities.
• Bachelor’sdegreeinCivilEngineering
• PElicense
• Designingandanalyzingsteelstructures,equipmentfoundations,sitecivilsystemsforsubstations.

Flexible & Hybrid Culture

Compensation range of $125,000 to $175,000 plus yearly merit bonus depending on years of experience, licensure, skill sets and education. In addition, we offer 401K company match, flexible work schedule, benefits and wellness program.
