Research & Development Support
We are seeking a detail-oriented Research & Development Support professional to join our team at the JFB Technical Center in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This is a 12-month contract opportunity supporting research and development activities in a technical/laboratory environment.
The ideal candidate will be organized, hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while following established laboratory, safety, and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for Research & Development activities.
- Assist with sample preparation, testing, handling, organization, and documentation.
- Accurately record experimental data, observations, and results.
- Maintain laboratory materials, samples, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow established SOPs, safety requirements, and quality procedures.
- Support R&D projects, testing activities, and product development initiatives.
- Coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks to meet project timelines.
- Work collaboratively with R&D scientists, technicians, and other cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity.
- Perform other laboratory and R&D support activities as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Laboratory, research, R&D, food science, chemistry, biology, or related experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately document information and perform data entry.
- Ability to follow written procedures, SOPs, and safety requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Research & Development or Product Development activities.
- Laboratory or technical center experience.
- Experience with sample preparation, laboratory testing, or experimental support.
- Experience in food, chemical, environmental, consumer products, or manufacturing R&D.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office.
