About the Role: Fastest Labs of Frederick is looking for a detail-oriented and professional Collection Technician to join our growing team in Hagerstown, MD. Responsibilities:- Perform drug, alcohol, and DNA specimen collections following strict chain-of-custody procedures
- Conduct urine, oral fluid, and breath alcohol testing in compliance with DOT and non-DOT guidelines
- Accurately document and process collection paperwork and electronic records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant collection facility
- Provide a professional and respectful experience for all clients and donors
- Coordinate with laboratory partners and employers to ensure timely result reporting
- Stay current on federal and industry regulations related to workplace drug testing
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in specimen collection, phlebotomy, or a medical/clinical setting preferred
- DOT/USDOT collection certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record management
