You'll gain hands-on exposure to sales tax administration and general accounting while learning new systems and working alongside an experienced team.
Responsibilities:
- Help maintain accurate sales tax records and ensure transactions are handled correctly across the organization
- Research tax-related discrepancies andmake adjustments tokeep account information accurate
- Learn and work within specialized accounting software to support daily processes
- Assist with account reconciliations and other general accounting activities as needed
- Take ownership of assigned projects while identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Accounting education or relevant hands-on accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, accuracy-focused work
- Basic Excel skills and confidence learning new accounting systems
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Sales tax, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience is a plus
